Falling in the Water

Why do these things happen?
When will I see spring?
Why am I still in winter?
When will I use my wings?

The snow is falling around me
And the ice is breaking below
The water is cruel and icy
It's a feeling I've come to know

I'm too afraid to stand
I'm afraid I'll only fall
When I just got out of water
I've never felt so small

The ice keeps on breaking
And I'm falling falling down
It's a nightmare without waking
When I'm just about to drown

So why do these things happen?
When I only wish for spring?
Will I never escape winter?
Will I ever use my wings?
